YUFENGREC®
YUFENGREC® Magnesia Refractory Fire Brick ,Magnesia Zircon Brick are made of one or two grades of high quality magnesia raw material with different MgO content , The higher MgO content and higher temperature fired ,the more periclase crystal direct bonding of products and the better corrosion resistance it wil get and higher temperature performance it will achieve . These refractory blocks are precision-engineered to deliver exceptional reliability in extreme thermal environments. By utilizing advanced high-pressure molding techniques combined with ultra-high-temperature firing processes ranging from 1550°C to over 1750°C, the internal microstructure achieves an incredibly dense configuration. This intensive thermal treatment facilitates the direct bonding of periclase crystals, resulting in a heavy, solid brick with a distinctively smooth yet crystalline surface texture. The extremely low apparent porosity effectively seals the interior against external chemical attacks, ensuring that the structural integrity remains uncompromised even during prolonged operational campaigns. Facility managers will benefit from extended maintenance cycles and a significant reduction in unexpected refractory failures.
Fused rebonded magnesia brick is made from fused magnesia with large periclase crystal, high bulk density ,low apparent porosity . it is better at high temperature volume stability ,high temperature strength and slag resistance .
To further understand the operational advantages, it is essential to look at the specific performance metrics that these materials deliver to industrial furnaces:
Exceptional Load-Softening Temperature: The dense crystalline matrix allows the bricks to support immense mechanical loads while subjected to extreme heat, preventing structural deformation in the lower courses of deep furnace linings.
Alkaline Slag Resistance: The heavy bulk density creates a formidable barrier against aggressive chemical penetration. When alkaline slags attempt to infiltrate the lining, the low porosity repels the corrosive agents, safeguarding the underlying furnace shell.
Thermal Volume Stability: Rapid heating and cooling cycles often cause inferior materials to crack or spall. These fused rebonded blocks maintain their precise geometric dimensions, minimizing expansion joint stress and preventing premature lining collapse.
Oxidation Resistance: The refined raw materials and specialized firing process yield a product that resists atmospheric degradation, ensuring consistent performance throughout the entire lifespan of the kiln or furnace.
Magnesia Bricks are widely used in safety lining of steel making furnaces , working linings of hot metal mixers ,ferroalloy smelting furnaces and non-ferrous metallurgical furnaces ,preheating zones and cooling zones of lime kiln and glass tank regenerators .
Industry Sector | Specific Equipment & Zones | Operational Value Delivered |
|---|---|---|
Steel & Ferrous Metallurgy | Electric arc furnaces, open-hearth safety linings, hot metal mixers | Provides a reliable containment barrier against molten steel, preventing costly breakouts and extending continuous casting sequences. |
Non-Ferrous Smelting | Working linings in copper, nickel, and lead smelting furnaces | Resists the highly corrosive nature of non-ferrous slags, minimizing refractory wear and reducing contamination of the final metal yield. |
Building Materials | Preheating and cooling zones of rotary cement and lime kilns | Endures severe mechanical abrasion and thermal cycling, ensuring stable clinker production without frequent shutdowns. |
Glass Manufacturing | Regenerator checker chambers in glass melting tanks | Handles intense alkali vapor deposition and thermal exchanges, maintaining optimal heat recovery efficiency over years of operation. |
