Alkaline series refractory bricks


Alkaline refractory bricks refer to refractory products with alkaline oxides such as magnesium oxide and calcium oxide as the main components. The main varieties are as follows. Magnesium refractory bricks refer to refractory bricks with magnesia as raw material, periclase as the main crystal phase, and MgO content of 80% to 85%. Its products are divided into two categories: metallurgical magnesia and magnesia products. According to different chemical compositions and uses, there are martin sand, ordinary metallurgical magnesia, ordinary magnesia bricks, magnesia silica bricks, magnesia alumina bricks, magnesia calcium bricks, magnesia carbon bricks, and other varieties. Magnesia refractory bricks are the most important products in alkaline refractory bricks, with high refractoriness, good resistance to alkaline slag and iron slag, and are an important high-grade refractory brick. Mainly used in the open hearth, oxygen converter, electric furnace, non-ferrous metal smelting, etc. Dolomite bricks are alkaline refractory bricks produced with dolomite as the main raw material. It is widely used in alkaline converters, and can also be used as the lining of some refining bags outside the furnace; forsterite refractory bricks are a kind of refractory bricks with forsterite 2MgO·SiO2 as the main composition. Mainly used for open-hearth regenerator checker bricks, ingot bricks, heating furnace bottoms, and copper smelting furnaces.
