Mullite, the main crystalline phase of mullite, is composed of 10% kaolin and 90% synthetic mullite, used at 1400~1500℃, and high strength. Pansy-mullite, bluestone and mullite are the main crystal phase, using the temperature of 1310℃ below. SiC and recrystallized SiC, which is characterized by excellent thermal shock resistance, high strength, the use of temperature below 1400℃. Recrystallized silicon carbide, short-term use temperature up to 1650℃. The long-term service temperature of silicon carbide combined with silicon nitride refractories formed by silicon carbide with silicon nitride as binder can be as high as 1550℃.
