Insulating fire brick is a kind of thermal insulation product with a regular shape. The common characteristics of this kind of material are small volume density, light bulk density, low thermal conductivity. But the intensity is low, high temperature reburning shrinkage is larger, heat insulation, good moisturizing effect.
Here is the content list:
Ultra-high temperature insulating fire brick
Light insulating fire brick
Performance
Ultra-high temperature insulating fire brick is made of fiber such as silicon fiber, aluminum fiber, carbon fiber, nitrogen fiber, silicon carbide fiber in at least one kind of heat-resistant inorganic material such as silicon dioxide, alumina, lithium oxide, magnesium oxide and binder as raw material, through molding and sintering. This kind of brick is light weight, high strength, excellent ultra-high temperature heat resistance and thermal conductivity, easy to process, suitable for space equipment, industrial furnaces, etc.
Due to its high porosity, low volume density and good thermal insulation performance, light insulating fire brick is widely used as a filling material in the space between the refractory brick and ketone body in various industrial kilns to reduce the heat loss in the kilns and obtain high energy utilization efficiency. The melting point of calcium feldspar is 1550℃. It has the characteristics of small density, small thermal expansion coefficient, low thermal conductivity, stable existence in reducing atmosphere and so on. It can partially replace the clayey, siliceous and high aluminum refractory materials at the working temperature of 1000-1300℃, and realize energy saving and emission reduction.
The fire resistance, compressive strength, slag resistance, erosion resistance and thermal conductivity of light silicon brick are not as good as that of silicon refractory brick, so they should be built on the back of silicon refractory brick and used as a heat insulation layer.
Diatomite brick is a light refractory material made of diatomite. It has good heat insulation performance and can be built on the back of clay brick as a heat insulation layer.
Light clay brick belongs to the air hole type light heat preservation material, masonry in the back of the clay brick or light high aluminum brick, can be used as heat insulation layer. However, the thermal conductivity coefficient in this standard is too large to meet the needs of high temperature hot blast stoves.
Lightweight high alumina brick is a good insulation material and can be used for laying on the back of high alumina firebrick or light silicon brick. However, the reburning shrinkage rate and thermal conductivity coefficient in this standard are too high to meet the needs of high temperature hot blast stoves.
Light insulating fire brick has characteristics of light weight and small heat storage. High porosity, even porosity, as the lining of industrial kiln, insulating fire brick has the function of heat insulation, heat preservation, has excellent heat insulation effect.
