What are the properties of ceramic fiber insulation

Ceramic Fiber is a light weight insulating  products ,it has low thermal mass , low thermal conductivity , good thermal shock resistance , and is a extremely effective insulation material .   

 

A comprehensive range of ceramic fibre insulation products including blankets, boards, paper, ropes ,cloths ,vacuum shape etc., According  to the raw material difference  , the ceramic fiber can be  either made from a refractory ceramic fiber, as well as  bio-soluble fiber.  For application in a temperature range from 1260°C  (2300 °F) TO 1600°C (2912°F ) .

Ceramic Fiber Blanket

YUFENG WOOL®Ceramic Fiber Blanket is made from high quality of spun fiber bulk , for application in a temperature range from 1260°C (2300 °F) TO 1600°C (2912°F ) .

The Ceramic Fiber Blanket is completely inorganic ,It is asbestos free, No chemical binder is added. Double-side needle processing provides blanket with great tensile or handling strength for easy installation.

Ceramic Fiber Board

YUFENG WOOL® Ceramic Fiber Board are produced through wet forming process of ceramic fiber and binder . These ceramic fiber board are vacuum formed products , featured with High temperature Stability ,low thermal conductivity ,consistent density , excellent resistance against thermal shock and chemical attacks .

The Ceramic Fiber Board are available in a variety of temperature rating from 1100ºC (2012 ° F) to 1430ºC (2600 ° F)

Ceramic Fiber Rope

YUFENG WOOL® Ceramic Fiber Rope are made from alumina - silica ceramic fiber and are free of asbestos.

The Ceramic Fiber Rope can be used in different industrial applications under temperature up to 1260°C (2300 ℉) , with excellent chemical stability ,strong resistance to thermal shock and corrosion attack . and also resist oxidation and reduction .

The Ceramic Fiber Rope contains 15% organic carriers , which helps establish physical formation of the products ,The carriers will be burned out under approximately 400 °C.

The Ceramic Fiber Rope also contain enforcement insert material of Inconel wire or continuous fiber filament to increase handling strength during installations and enhance fiber durability to rated temperatures of 1093°C for inconel wire and 649 °C .

Ceramic Fiber Paper

YUFENG WOOL®Ceramic Fiber Paper consists primarily of high purity alumina-silicate fiber and is made through a fiber washing process. This process controls the content of un-fiberized shots to a very minimal level within the paper.
Our ceramic fiber paper features light weight, structure uniformity and low thermal conductivity, which serve as a perfect solution for high temperature insulation, chemical corrosion resistance, and thermal shock resistance.
This ceramic fiber paper can be used in various types of refractory and sealing applications and is available in 3 grades with a variety of thicknesses, widths, and temperature ratings.

Ceramic Fiber Module

YUFENG WOOL®Ceramic Fiber Modules are made of high quality spun ceramic fiber blanket ,fold ,and compress to a certain density.

During installation ,The module are further pressed. Due to the elastic fiber, after removing the banding, the the module will be rebounded, squeezed each other tight.with special designed to improve the thermal insulation requirements of industrial furnaces in some special thermal conditions.

Anchor system are consist of four inserted pole ,the pole will be buried within the fold blanket , This pole has a vertical cusp ,the cusp will be through the blanket discount and components on the back of the one perpendicular to the crease of the blanket, connecting with the long slide position in the slot .

Modules solution have the reliable thermal maintenance and long time treatment. Module linings prevent heat loss, increasing the furnace productivity and reducing maintenance costs.

Ceramic Fiber Bulk

YUFENG WOOL®Ceramic Fiber Bulk is manufactured from high purity alumina-silica materials through spinning operation or blowing operation. These fibers can be further modified by chopping. In addition, Lubricant can be added to the fibers. Our ceramic fiber bulk serves as the foundation for fiber products such as blanket, board, paper and other vacuum-formed products. Which is available in a variety of chemistries and diameters which can offer a wide variety of applications.

YUFENG WOOL® Bio Soluble Fiber Blanket is a body soluble fiber that utilizing a unique spinning technology and mechanical properties .

These special fibers are made from a blend of calcium ,silica and magnesium which give fiber the ability to support continuous applications under high temperature conditions.

Bio-Soluble Ceramic Fiber Textiles

YUFENG WOOL®Bio Soluble Fiber Textiles are made of a body soluble fiber that utilizing a unique spinning technology and mechanical properties .it is  high temperature fibre with an increased bio-solubility and is therefore an alternative to the Established aluminium silicate wool (ceramic fibre). BIO Soluble wool is a spun fibre on the basis of calcium Magnesium silicate with high thermal stability, high tensile strength as well as good elasticity. Due to the high biosolubility it is not classified as dangerous material and chemically less resistant than aluminum silicate wool.

What is ceramic fiber insulation used for
How to install ceramic fiber insulation
 
1.Clear and clean the surface on the kiln shell which need to install ceramic fiber modulus , measure the correct distance vertically and horizontally and mark with a chalk line. At the points where the chalk lines cross, weld an stud onto the steel shells. At this point, back-up layers of blanket and stainless steel foil should be installed if being incorporated into the lining of the furnace;
 
2.Insert the guide rod through the hole in the yoke tab, lift the module and guide rod into position and thread the guide rod onto the small tip on the Module stud. The module can now be pushed into place with the module yoke tab sliding onto the stud and against the steel casing. A slide plate can be used against adjoining modules to ease the ins;

3.Insert a hex-nut into the end of the nut driver and slide onto the guide rod. Thread the nut by hand onto the stud. Remove the guide rod. Install other ceramic fiber modules in turn;

4. Using a ratchet or drill, tighten the nut onto the stud. Push the fiber together to eliminate the hole in the center of the module;

5. Lay folded batten strip in place on top of installed row of modules before installing the next row of modules;

6 .When the Modules have been installed, the banding strips should be cut and removed. tamping out the lining, to further tighten all joints and close any gaps that may exist.
